Arnaud began his career at Price Waterhouse Coopers as auditor specializing in banking and insurance. He carried out numerous missions relating to financial markets (portfolio performance enhancement, reporting and follow-up instruments, accounting and financial auditing) on behalf of banking institutions, insurance companies and investment funds.
In 2000 he joined Arthur Andersen Paris (which later merged with Ernst & Young), supervising missions in various fields:
- Restructuring: enhanced reliability of accounting and financial data, financial and operational diagnosis, estimates of future cash needs, debt transactions.
- Transactions: auditing related to acquisitions and divestitures on behalf of investment funds (Axa Private Equity Group, Bridge Point, CDC Ixix, Natexis Industrie, Siparex) concerning groups valued at between 50 and 500 M€.
- Accounting and financial auditing: review of processes, end-of-period accounts, analysis of business units profitability, quality check of information system and reporting.
Arnaud also worked for the Acquisitions division of the financial direction of Veolia Transport, acquiring expertise in various areas (origination of targets, analysis of financial track-record, synergy mapping, supervision of closing process, etc.)
He later joined the Caisse des Dépôts, furthering his experience in supervision in management, both in real estate investment and equity acquisition.
